Your Musiqskool, founded by Julia Olthoff-Thenu, started from her home. In 2010, Julia, a piano teacher and producer/secretary at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, began giving piano lessons to children and teenagers aged 8-16 in her free time.
Her passion for music and dedication to youth sparked a growing vision for a music school, leading to the official launch of Your Musiqskool in January 2012.

Julia's commitment to music education didn't stop there. She also founded Your Music Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on talent development.

Your Musiq Academy is the talent department of Your Musiqskool. Which provides training and coaching for auditions at conservatories, pop academies and HBA levels in Pop, Soul, Jazz and Gospel genres.

In addition to her roles as a founder and educator, Julia is also a musician and radio host of Your Musiq Live.
